This year Sweet Betty Jean is partnering with the best of the best to present Ultimate Giveaway 2013. We have decided to get behind two of our very favorite local causes: YWCA Pierce County and the Stand Out Prom Scholarship Program. Both programs seek to provide woman with the resources they need to live full, beautiful lives.

The YWCA Pierce County has been a community leader in domestic violence services for over thirty years. After starting the state’s first domestic violence shelter in 1976, the YWCA has steadily expanded and enhanced a comprehensive menu of domestic violence service provision, offering clients real tools to change their lives through safety, healing, and empowerment.

The YWCA Pierce County touches the lives of over 12,000 women and children annually seeking safety through this bevy of services. Support from community members via volunteering and donations help the YWCA support its clients in creating lives free of violence and full of hope.

Founded in 2009, the Stand Out Prom Scholarship Program is led by local women who have forged careers out of their passions for the creative arts. The mission is to inspire, support and mentor young women of Pierce County by providing them with unique experiences and giving them the financial backing to pursue the artistic desires of their heart.

OFFICIAL RULES

• Entry Ticket(s) is required for drawing entry.

• Must be a female of 18 years or older to enter and be eligible to win the prize.

• Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

• Person can purchase as many entry tickets as she wants.

• The winner will be notified by phone and/or email based on the information provided in the entry information, no later than February 13, 2013. The prize will be awarded by February 28, 2013, as long as the winner has provided Sweet Betty Jean with a valid mailing address and phone number by that date.

• Odds of winning depend upon the number of qualified submissions received. Only 500 tickets will be available for purchase. 300 available for online sales, 200 available for in person sales at Salon Ish and Glam That Gives event.

• Entrants must complete online donation by January 26, 2013 by 11pm pacific, and submit at least their full name and email address to be eligible to win.

• A random drawing with the names of all qualified Entrants will be held on January 27, 2013, at the Glam That Gives event at the Star Center in Tacoma, Washington to determine a winner. Drawing tickets will be available on January 27 at event only. Entrants do not have to be present to win.

• Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Winner is responsible for all taxes, transportation and local regulations.

• Winner must meet eligibility requirements listed in these contest rules and regulations and as determined by Sweet Betty Jean.

• Entrants agree that Sweet Betty Jean, its partners, participating sponsors, their affiliates, officers, directors, agents and their employees shall not be responsible for lost, misdirected, illegible or late entries.

• By purchasing entry ticket(s) and providing valid contact information to Sweet Betty Jean, entrants accept these rules and agree to be bound by the results of the prize drawing. All decisions made by Sweet Betty Jean are final.  

• Exact prizes are subject to availability and may differ from photos shown in promotional materials.
